ABOUT KESHI PEARLS

In their origin, Keshi pearls are the closest to natural, wild pearls. In fact, Keshi arises as a by-product of pearl farming, when the oyster expels the main nucleus. At the same time, the pearl sac, where the Keshi pearl is formed, is preserved in its natural environment without any human intervention. Despite this, Keshi cannot be called a natural pearl, since it grows on artificial pearl farms.
The name Keshi itself comes from the Japanese word "keshinomi", which means "poppy seed"
This pearl has a fantastic luster, as it is made of 100% mother of pearl and has no core. The pearl itself can be either more rounded or flatter.
