Large silver rings

How a ring should fit and feel on your finger is a matter of taste. Here is our general advice regarding fit for wide and large silver rings.

The ring should be able to be slipped on and off your finger with resistance over the knuckle. Once in place, the ring should be a little loose. You shouldn't lose the ring when you shake hands, but it's important that air gets under the ring so that the skin doesn't get damp.
Also keep in mind that your hands sometimes swell, so it's a good idea to try on the silver ring you've ordered a few times during the day, both morning and evening, to make sure the ring is the right size.

A large or wide silver ring is usually smaller in size than a narrow ring.
Generally speaking, rings wider than 5mm may require one to half a size larger than you normally wear. This also applies to ring combinations where the overall width is important.
